These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Solostash ("Service", "Platform"), operated by AURIA Digital s.r.o. ("Company", "we", "us", "our"), a company registered in the Slovak Republic.
By creating an account or using Solostash, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. About Solostash
Solostash is a web-based business management platform designed for freelancers and independent professionals. The Service provides tools for task management, time tracking, client relationship management, invoicing, estimates, calendar scheduling, expense tracking, notes, subscription tracking, and reporting.
The Service is accessible at app.solostash.com and as a Progressive Web App (PWA) installable on your device.
2. Eligibility
To use Solostash, you must:
- Be at least 16 years of age (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be prohibited from using the Service under applicable law
If you are using the Service on behalf of a business, you represent that you have the authority to bind that business to these Terms.
3. Account Registration
3.1 Creating an Account
You must create an account to use Solostash. When registering, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information (name, email address)
- Maintain the security of your password (minimum 6 characters)
- Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
3.2 One Account Per Person
Each account is for a single individual user. You may not share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts for the same person.
3.3 Account Security
We use Supabase Authentication to manage your account. Your password is securely hashed and never stored in plain text. We strongly recommend using a unique, strong password that you do not use for other services.
4. Free Trial
4.1 Trial Period
Solostash offers a 14-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required to start a trial.
4.2 Trial Limitations
During the trial period, you have access to the complete Service with no feature restrictions. At the end of your 14-day trial, you must subscribe to a paid plan to continue using the Service. If you do not subscribe, your access to the Service will be suspended.
4.3 Trial Data
Any data you create during your trial (clients, projects, tasks, invoices, etc.) will be preserved if you subscribe to a paid plan. If you choose not to subscribe, your data will be retained for 30 days after the trial ends, after which it may be permanently deleted.
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Plans and Pricing
Solostash offers the following subscription options:
- Monthly Plan: €9.99/month (introductory price for the first 6 months), then €12.99/month
- Annual Plan: €99/year (equivalent to €8.25/month)
All plans include access to every feature. There are no feature-gated tiers. Prices are displayed in EUR and may be subject to applicable taxes (such as VAT) depending on your location.
We reserve the right to change our pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to you at least 30 days in advance and will apply at the start of your next billing cycle.
5.2 Payment Processing
Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service. We do not store your credit card details directly — all payment information is handled securely by Stripe.
5.3 Billing Cycle
- Monthly plans are billed on the same date each month.
- Annual plans are billed once per year on the anniversary of your subscription start date.
- The introductory monthly price (€9.99/month) automatically transitions to the standard price (€12.99/month) after 6 months. You will be notified before this transition occurs.
5.4 Failed Payments
If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, your access to the Service may be suspended. You can update your payment method at any time through the Stripe Billing Portal accessible within your account settings.
5.5 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings (via the Stripe Billing Portal). Upon cancellation:
- Monthly plans: Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining days.
- Annual plans: Your access continues until the end of the annual billing period.
5.6 Refund Policy
- Monthly plans: No refunds are issued for partial months.
- Annual plans: You are eligible for a full refund within 30 days of your annual subscription purchase date ("30-day money-back guarantee"). After 30 days, no refunds are issued. To request a refund, contact us at support@solostash.com.
5.7 Taxes
Prices displayed may be exclusive of taxes. Applicable VAT or other taxes will be calculated and added at checkout based on your location and will appear on your invoice from Stripe.
6. Acceptable Use
6.1 Permitted Use
You may use Solostash for lawful business and personal productivity purposes, including managing your freelance business, tracking work, managing clients, and generating invoices and estimates.
6.2 Prohibited Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other user accounts, or our systems
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Use the Service to send spam, unsolicited communications, or phishing attempts
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the Service without our written permission
- Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent
- Exceed reasonable usage limits that impact Service performance for other users
6.3 Enforcement
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these Terms or engaged in prohibited use.
7. Your Data
7.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data, content, and materials you create or upload through the Service ("Your Data"). This includes but is not limited to: client information, project details, task descriptions, time entries, invoices, estimates, notes, expenses, and uploaded files.
We do not claim ownership of Your Data.
7.2 License to Operate
By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access, store, process, and display Your Data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license terminates when you delete Your Data or close your account.
7.3 Data Portability
You can export Your Data at any time using the built-in CSV and JSON export functionality. We are committed to ensuring you are never locked into our platform.
7.4 Data Security
Your Data is stored on Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security (RLS) enabled, which means only you can access your own data. All connections between your browser and our servers are encrypted using TLS/SSL.

7.5 Data Deletion
Upon account deletion, we will permanently delete Your Data from our active systems within 30 days. Encrypted backups may retain Your Data for up to an additional 90 days, after which they are purged.
8. Third-Party Integrations
8.1 Google Calendar
Solostash offers optional two-way synchronization with Google Calendar. By enabling this integration, you authorize Solostash to read and write calendar events on your behalf. You can disconnect this integration at any time from your account settings. Google's own terms of service and privacy policy apply to your use of Google Calendar.
8.2 Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party providers to operate:
- Stripe — Payment processing
- Supabase — Database and authentication
- Brevo — Transactional emails
- Vercel — Hosting and content delivery
- Sentry — Error tracking and monitoring
Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms and privacy policies of these providers, though we make efforts to ensure they handle your data responsibly and in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our Property
The Service, including its design, code, user interface, logos, trademarks, documentation, and all related intellectual property, is owned by AURIA Digital s.r.o. and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.
9.2 Feedback
If you provide us with feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to use, modify, and incorporate such feedback into the Service without obligation to you.
10. Estimates and Invoices
10.1 Public Sharing
Solostash allows you to share estimates with your clients via unique public URLs. You are solely responsible for the content of your estimates and invoices, including the accuracy of pricing, terms, and descriptions.
10.2 No Financial or Legal Advice
Solostash is a tool for creating and managing invoices and estimates. We do not provide financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice. The invoices generated by the Service are formatted documents — it is your responsibility to ensure they comply with the tax and invoicing regulations applicable in your jurisdiction.
11. Availability and Support
11.1 Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available 24/7 but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:
- Planned maintenance (we will provide advance notice when possible)
- Unexpected technical issues or outages
- Force majeure events beyond our control
11.2 Offline Support
Solostash includes offline functionality via its Progressive Web App (PWA) architecture. Data created while offline is stored locally and synchronized with our servers when your internet connection is restored. We are not responsible for data loss due to local device issues while offline.
11.3 Customer Support
We provide customer support via email at support@solostash.com. We aim to respond to inquiries within 24–48 hours on business days.
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 Disclaimer
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted, or that any defects will be corrected.
12.2 Limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AURIA Digital s.r.o. shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
- Costs of procurement of substitute services
- Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service
Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12.3 Exceptions
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AURIA Digital s.r.o., its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Content you create, upload, or share through the Service (including invoices and estimates sent to third parties)
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this document
- Notify you via email or through the Service at least 14 days before the changes take effect
Your continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes. If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you may cancel your subscription and stop using the Service.
15. Termination
15.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@solostash.com or through your account settings. Upon termination, your access to the Service will be revoked and your data will be handled as described in Section 7.5.
15.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account if:
- You violate these Terms
- You engage in activity that could harm the Service, other users, or our reputation
- Your account has been inactive for more than 12 consecutive months
- Required by law or legal process
If we terminate your account for reasons other than a Terms violation, we will provide you with reasonable notice and an opportunity to export your data.
16. Governing Law and Disputes
16.1 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Slovak Republic, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
16.2 Dispute Resolution
If a dispute arises between you and AURIA Digital s.r.o. in connection with these Terms or the Service, we encourage you to contact us first at support@solostash.com to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Slovak Republic.
16.3 European Online Dispute Resolution
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
17. General Provisions
17.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AURIA Digital s.r.o. regarding the Service.
17.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
17.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
17.4 Assignment
You may not assign your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
17.5 Language
These Terms are provided in English. In the event of any conflict between the English version and any translated version, the English version shall prevail.
